Sup? Just know that I also don’t know what I’m doing, but we’re along for the ride together.

Following bio provided by my awesome writer dad, Austin Gisriel:

“You get caught in a spiral and you don’t even know it until finally something or another happens and suddenly you can barely function,” says Sarah. “It’s difficult for people to understand how a depressed person feels unless you have also felt that lost.”

“It’s important to have the support of friends and family, and to that extent, I hope that this blog will also provide some support as well. I’m not a therapist, but if you read something here that helps or makes you smile or gives you hope, then that’s one more joy in my day.”

A graduate of Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD, Sarah has filled several positions for WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, MD, serving as a web editor, as well as a reporter in both the Winchester, VA and Hagerstown bureaus.

Sarah spent her formative years in Williamsport, MD, where she graduated from high school.

“I don’t always do things by the book,” she laughs again. “My car has a manual transmission, but when I bought it, I had no idea how to drive a stick. I learned. That little tidbit sums me up pretty well.”

Feel free to like Sarah’s reporter page or send her a tweet.
